Johnnie R. Jackson
Johnnie Rollen Jackson, 48 died after illness early Monday night at home at Cotton Center near Plainview. A carpenter, he had gone there about six years ago from Lamar County.

Gene Roden & Sons Funeral Home here was notified the body would arrive here Wednesday noon on the Santa Fe train. Funeral services and burial are arranged at Forest Hill, north of High, but the time had not been set.

Mr. Jackson, son of the late John and Minnie (Wicks) Jackson was born January 6, 1906.

Besides his wife, the former Henrietta Hindman, he leaves these children: John R. Jackson Jr., Joe Carroll Jackson, Earl Jackson, Virginia Jackson and Roena Jackson all of Cotton Center and Thomas Jackson, United States Marine Corps now in Japan; one grandchild; a brother Howard Jackson, Durant, Oklahoma and a sister Mrs. W. F. Boultinghouse, Fort Worth.
