Daily Times-News, The Wednesday, January 12, 1977 MEBANE JOHNIE (JOHN) Lee NEESE. 70, of Rt. 5, Mebane, died Tuesday afternoon in Alamance County Hospital after several years failing health and three days critical illness- He was a native of Orange County and son of the late Will and Adalaide NEESE. He was the husband of the late Lois E- NEESE. He was a retired employee of White Furniture Company and a member of the Mebane United Methodist Church in Mebane. Survivors include one son. Teddy Lee NEESE of the home and one grandchild. The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by the Rev. Charles Mercer and assisted by Rev. Helton F. Joyner. Burial will follow in Oakwood cemetery in Mebane. The body will be carried to the home this morning at 11 am. and will remain there until taken to the chapel 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends at their home tonight from 7 to 9.
