1 Mar 1997: Per data rec'd by Charles Reed from Thomas W Jones in his letter dated 20 May 1996: Hannah's children were: James Wright married Mary Ray; William Wright married Mary, his will dated 1 May 1821 Clarke Co Ga; John Wright married 2nd Alcea Langston; Sarah Wright married Johnston Clark; George Wright married Sarah Bridges; Hannah Wright or McCarty married Mr Walker per her mother's will; Nancy McCarty married Mr Stokes; Cornelius McCarty of Jackson Co Ga drew 2 blanks in 1805 land lottery. John Wright b before 1767. The name of his first wife is unknown. He married 2- in Columbia Co Ga in 1788, Alcea Langston, according to an affidavit of their daughter. John was granted a 95 acre tract in Columbia Co, 4 Dec 1790. He was living in Jackson Co in 1805 & drew 2 blanks in the land lottery (Cherokee). John's will dated 3 June 1803 with a codicil dated March 1806 was proved in Jackson Co 5 May 1806.
