Will dated 14 Jun 1763, filed 30 Jan 1764 names wife Mehitable, son Aaron, daughter Mehitable Draper, son Abijah, son Joshau, daughter Sarah wife of John Davis, daughter Hannah wife of Caleb Harden, daughter Merriam wife of Jabez Harden, daughter Dorothy wife of Joseph Sabin, daughter Abigail wife of Thomas Lyons.
    [Note: neither birth or death record found. This source cites "Weld Mss." held by NEHGS. John Weld is named as second son in his father's will dated 1692 so born between brother Joseph 1683 and the date of the will. Baptism 1 Nov 1685 of John, s. of Joseph, is probably a misrecording and would appear to belong to his sister Sarah.]

    Will of "John Weld of Sturbridge ... yeoman", dated 14 Jun 1763, filed 30 Jan 1764, proved 27 Feb 1764 (Moses Weld as executor, Aaron Weld refusing), names wife Mehitabel; son Moses Weld; son Aaron Weld; my grand children viz't my daughter Mehitabel Drapers Children; son Abijah Weld; son Joshua Weld; five daughters (viz't:) to Sarah Davis wife to John Davis, to Hannah Warden wife to Caleb Warden, to Merriam Harden wife to Jabez Harden, to Dorothy Sabins wife to Joseph Sabins; to children of Abigail Lyon who was wife to Thomas Lyon. Sons Moses and Aaron to be executors.
