"113. … John Welch, born 17 Apr 1699 in Bristol, Bristol, RI. … died 3 Dec 1754 in Plainfield, Windham, CT. … John Welch of Plainfield, in his will dated 16 Nov 1754, probated 7 Jan 1755, gave his wife Sarah all household goods and the use of 1/2 of the real estate during her widowhood; to son John the whole of the real estate and personalty, except that given to his mother, he to pay debts and legacies; to dau. Mary 100 pounds within three years and to dau. Hannah 150 pounds within four years. Son John was named executor. 'John Welch, son of my brother John Welch, dec'd', was named in the 25 Jan 1759 will of Ebenezer Welch."
