    Rev John Wade, Berwick, b. in Ipsw. 15 Feb. 1674-5, s. of Col. Thomas, H. C. 1693, m. 3 Sept. 1696 Elizabeth Gerrish. Minister of Berwick (par. of Unity) 12 May 1697, also in Nov. 1699 and Sept. 1700 when he bot there near the meeting-ho., tho bef. May 1698 he had been chaplain at Brunswick. He wit. John Fost's will in 1699 and wrote and wit. Mrs. Bridget Graffort's contested will. Ordained at Berw. 18 Nov. 1702; his w. adm. a member in May 1703. He d. 13 Nov. 1703, ill two days, and Rev. Cotton Mather paid tribute to him. … Wid. Elizabeth of Dover m. 2d Capt. Joshua Pierce. Ch: John, b. 16 July 1699, d. ab. 1720, unm. Sarah, b. 20 Sept. 1701, wit. for her mo. 12 Dec. 1722, m. Capt. Nicholas Winkley by 1730 when she was the only surviving child.
