now in the possession of party (2). Part of Enniscaven manor. Consideration: £16;
and surrender of the lives of John Varcoe, Mary his wife, and Elizabeth Perkin.
Usual exceptions, rent, reservations and covenants. Term: 99 years, on lives of
party (2), wife Mary, and John, son of John Varcoe the younger, of St Dennis.
Footnote: 'Elizabeth Perkins lived in the Waterhouse near Exeter. Her husband died
3 years since; he was employed in bringing water to the City'.
