"Two Deaths in One Family"
John Tiernan died at New Monmouth last Wednesday morning, aged 73 years. He left a widow and three grown-up sons. On Wednesday afternoon Martin, one of these sons, died in Brooklyn. He was 35 years old and leaves a widow and a young son."

"John Tiernan died at New Monmouth on Wednesday at the age of 87 years. The funeral was held on Friday at St. Mary's church at New Monmouth. Rev. J. J. F. O'Connor conducted the service."
