J.S. Smelser, a son of the late I. Smelser, arrived from Golconda yesterday. The accidental killing of his father, which occurred a week ago today, wsa the result of a runaway. Mr. Smelser was thrown from the wagon and struck on his head, breaking his neck and causing instant death.
