John Schwarts died of pneumonia on Sunday Mar 6, 1904 at his home on 353 W.Douglass in Reading, age 51. Mr.Schwartz was a painter & paperhanger. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Leaves a widow, Ellen, 2 sons: Harry W. of Reading & Robert J. of Auburn, PA in Schuylkill Co. One daughter, Mamie, w/o Allie Weikamp of Reading. Two brothers: Frank, now at Southern Pines, NC & Wood M. of Reading. Three sisters: Ida w/o Ernest Shoup of Hummelstown; Agnes w/o William Brown of Emaus in Lehigh Co, & Mamie, w/o William Scholl of Reading.
