Sumner of Andreas in 1772, (and subsequent years), when he purchased part of the quarter land of Balachurry in Mullen Lowner of 5/2 rent from John QUAYLE of Castletown. He is believed to have demolished the old home and built a new one, "Belfast". In 1774, he sold Mullen Beg, McTEARE's half quarter and the West croft to his cousin Thomas RADCLIFFE, a joiner.
