John Pond, eldest son of John, was born about 1688 … He died March 12, 1759, in his 72d year; his widow,. Rachel, died Feb. 15, 1770, in her 78th year. Their grave-stones are to be seen in the old burying-ground at West Medway. He left no recorded will, nor is there any record of an administration of his estate.
