John¹ Pearl, birth and parentage unknown; family tradition is that he came from Yorkshire, England, after 1680; married before 1685 Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Holmes (90). He was living in Bradford, 1695, and probably much earlier. His homestead in Bradford was near Boxford line. He died before 14 July, 1710.
