    23 May 1765: Inventory of the Estate of John Peabody late of Boxford dec'd £1519.12.11 by John Gould, Jacob Cumming, Sam'l Smith
    19 Apr 1766: Appraisal of real estate of John Peabody Late of Boxford Deseas'd and set off unto his widow Mary Peabody her dower. Remaining two thirds "Not Convenant for more than two Divisions", and this was done. On 23 Jun 1766, "the Eldest son & second son of the s'd dec'd having under their hands refused to have either of the above Divisions", the judge settled one on Moses Peabody a son of said Dec:d and the other on Jedediah Peabody one other son of s'd dec'd, they giving bond to pay their siblings. Moses to pay Asa Peabody, Andrew Peabody, Ruth Peabody and Lucy Peabody. Jedediah Peabody to pay David Peabody the Eldest son, and Elizabeth Peabody.
