[Jrich Note: this information may be incorrect. Certainly there is not enough information given to know why the author supposes Richard to be a son of John, and as he misses the two recorded children of John and Phebe, there is no reason to believe the author is particularly knowledgeable about this family. It is possible Richard was born before the other two children, but not enough information is given about Richard to know if that would fit him or not. All it says is that his wife was born in 1750. He would have needed to in the neighborhood of 10 years older or, more likely, even more, than his wife to be in this family.]
