Rutland VRs, p. 171, contain the intentions of John Hubbard Moore and Mary Miles on 11 Sep 1770. Source:Bolton, Ethel Stanwood. Some Descendants of John Moore of Sudbury, Mass, Vol. 57, p. 367, says, "he d. before his marriage, of a fever-sore, at Tewksbury". There is some doubt about the completeness of this explanation, because the death was over two years after the intentions.
