Dear Sirs I am writing you two find out if you can help me two get in comunication or two find if possible some of my ansesters or relatines .first start I could not think of a better way sa you would know what Society or Department two hand this letter two. Following on seperate sheet, all the information I know. My parents both died some years ago also 3 bros and sister have; 2 bros left; my age 66

My father & Mother married Scotland about year 1870 or 1871 came over two United States soon after mariage all I know I was born in Pensulvania Nov 29, 1871 in U. S. Father follow coal mining Father (David Miller) was born year of 1852 eather Edinboughor Glasco as Mother (Isabella) name King befor marige born 1853 Edinbough Glasco Were married eather Edinbourg & Glasco Scotland Came two Us soon after. at one time I remember of Fathers Brother George Miller died 25 or 30 years ago I believe Salt Lake City USA Utah.Only near of min my brother now deceased ---------did with a John Thompson of Pen- second cousin I wrote him this winter for some information. He ans my letter but could not give me any could not find out what county I was born in.

Dear Sirs. As I am left alone and getting two an age. (66) not knowing anything at all of my ancesters except my father and mother were married in Scotland came two US 1870 or 1871. My father David Miller followed mining and the last time I remember of his saying He worked in the mines were at Salt Lake. If I remember corectly we lived in Salt Lake about one and a half years, as near as I can figure would be about, 1877 or 1878. I have heard my father David Miller mention several times that he joined the Morman Church while living there. and thought possible that your reckards might give me some information where he was born. I am trying two try and get in comunications with some off former generations Mothers name Isabella know of was a brother of my father George Miller who died at Salt Lake 40 or 50 years ago, any information that you might have will be appreciated
