Laura Rubanna McBay was the daughter of John Hamilton McBay and Eliza West Honeycutt. John Hamilton McBay was born on April 26, 1819 in Alabama (Probably Butler County.) He was the son of Abel McBay and Mary Ann "Polly" Butler. If you will contact me, I can help you assuming you still need and want the help. I have worked on these families for 30 years. I descend from Abel McBay and Mary Ann Butler through THEIR daughter Mary Ann "Polly" McBay, who married Augustus L Husbands, who was my great grandfather. I can't help a lot on the Wheelers. But, I DID know someone whose family included Duncans and Collingsworths. Any info here depends on who is still living.
