Funeral program. Newspaper obituary. Star Valley Independent, Dec 24, 1986: "Word was received Tuesday of the sudden death of John Mallory at his home in St. George. He was born and lived in Star Valley until his retirement from teaching, when he moved to St. George. He spent the summer in Afton. He was a regular attender at the center, while here to have his noon meal and visit with relatives and friends. Funeral services and interment were at St. George."
