- ↑ "After a very short illness, John Kline, a prominent farmer residing east of Rising Sun, died Wednesday at the age of sixty-one. Mr. Kline had been in fair health recently but some months ago fell and received injuries which resulted in an attack of neuralgia, the last of which proved fatal.
A wife and family of children survive him. It will be recalled that Mrs. Kline was stricken with heart trouble while attending the Cochard reunion at Meadowbrook last week and was in a serious condition for a time. She recovered however, and was taken to her home. Mr. Kline at that time was apparently well. The funeral will be held at the late home of the deceased Saturday."
