↑Source:Perley, Sidney. History of Salem, Massachusetts, Vol. 1, p. 131, matches another John Ingersoll to the marriage to Elizabeth Symonds, but it has been shown that that John died before the marriage took place. He notes John, s/o Nathaniel, lived in Lynn in 1710, but for some reason, he does not seems to recognize that the s/o Nathaniel is the man who published his intentions to Elizabeth Symonds in Lynn.
