John Huse, 4th child of Carr Huse and his second wife Joanna Buswell, was born in New Chester (Hill), NH, 11 February 1785 and died in New Chester (Hill), 26 February 1859. He married in Sanbornton, NH, in 1805, Betsey Straw, born 25 February 1788, died 27 November 1822, daughter of Roswell Straw. He married, second, in 1824, Mehitable B. Colby, of Sanbornton, who died in Hill 18 January 1864, aged 72 years.
