Side 2 "HOUSEL John + Rachel Osmund, M. July 24, 1816 " Housel + Margaret Giles, M. Apr 30, 1836 John Housel B. FEB 26, 1797 DROWNED AT 90!!! Rachel, B. Dec. 1796 Margaret Giles, B. Oct. 31, 1807 D. 1885? J. Housel D. May 4, 1825 (G.G.Grandfather)" later annotated to add Wm + Delphine's continues with the line of Mrs Lamb who is descended from Isaac Housel.
Note that Mary Delphine Housel and her brother William Parley Housel are great grandchildren of John Housel through his youngest son William Charles Housel. Mrs. Elizabeth Lamb is a fourth great granddaughter of John Housel through his oldest son Isaac O. Housel. (Note that her mother's maiden name was HEFTY) L.W.H. is Lorenzo William Housel, the father of William Parley and M. Delphine Housel. NOTE 2: The information that John Housel drowned at age 90 is, we believe, erroneous.
