At Seymour Masonic Cemetery, Webster Co, MO: In the Hoover plot with Jesse Hoover and Amanda Cross Hoover, and their two children, Eliza and Margaret, is an additional stone. Inscription says "J. Walter Hoover Erected in sacred memory of my beloved husband 19 Jan 1880- 17 Jan 1908". This is probably John Walter Hoover, son of David W. Hoover and Martha Winningham.
