Hello I've just found your work on the Henderson's and I'm impressed. In a short amout of time I've found out a lot of information that I had no idea was out there. Thanks. Maybe I can help spread this out with more information for you.

My Grandfather is George Dewey Henderson B. April 29, 1909 D. Nov. 4, 1999 Wife Ethel Fanny B. Sep. 9, 1907 D. March 21, 1984 had two daughters Janet and Emma

My Great Grandfather is John F. Henderson 1st wife Mimmie Carter 2nd wife Hattie Bradley. John and Mimmie had 7 children, Goldie, Dewey, Virgil, Earl, Bertha, Ruby, Emma. John and Hattie had 4 children Mary, Betty, Robert, Lucile.

My Great Great Grandfather is Robert Jasper Henderson Jr. wife Phoeba Bear

The Information your lacking in your tree is John F. Henderson's first wife which is Mimmie, thats the line I'm from. Hattie is the only wife you list for John Franklin Henderson she's his second wife. I have more dates names and places that might help.

I want to get my tree going on this I've benn very interested in the Henderson line. I'm told it was either John F. or Robert Jasper jr. was a Rough Rider for Rooservelt and went up San Jaun Hill, supposedly which ever one it was if any went on to become a body guard for Teddy Roosevelt. The Parade Magazine (comes in sunday newspaper) had a picture on the front of the Rough Riders and mom found grandfather in the picture. She kept it and now can't find it. Though John F. seems to young and Robert Jasper jr. was to old. Maybe was a sibling. I have not been able to prove any of that and doubt the validity, though I must say my mother tells me stories I don't believe and they always come out to be true.
