His second marriage was to Bernice Spencer, former wife of Lester LeRoy Hansen of 3312 Cass St, P.O. Box 31264 ( or 68131) Omaha, NE 68102 where John and Bernice lived as of 1987 (still there July,1994 when daughter Jean visited him before Braught Reunion in Des Moines). According to interviews with Ralph and Gene Braught (brothers to John's #1 wife, Helen Braught), he married Bernice Spencer the November after he retired from the Des Moines, IA Post Office abt. 1987 (many years a carrier there). 

Helen once had many Braught old photos given to her by her family that John unfortunately burned shortly after her death, thinking that no one wanted them. Only a family historian would realize that such lost treasures had lasting value.
