He married Catherine "Kate" Spear (daughter of Robert Matthew and Rebeckah (Aunger) Spear), 1874 in Atlarnum, Cornwall, England. Born 21 Aug 1843 in St. Clether, Cornwall, England. Died 31 May 1921 in London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada. Buried in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario, Canada.
