- ↑ "John H. Feasel Former area resident/Union Carbide retiree John H.Feasel, 95, of N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., Toledo, and formerly of TWSP RD23, Kansas, died in Toledo Hospital on Wednesday evening. He was bornOct. 2, 1903, to Charles and Mary (Millhime) Feasel in Seneca Countynear Maple Grove. On Sept. 14, 1926, he married Violet Zimmerman; shedied March 16, 1984. Surviving include: a son, Harvey Nelson (Joyce)Feasel of Lambertville, MI.; Grandchildren: Michael, Terry Nelson andGary (Amy) Feasel, Peggy (Brian) Bliss and Vicki (Richard) Jueng; andsix great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were: a son, John H.Jr.; three brothers, Irvin, Harvey, and Charles; five sisters, CoraHostler, Verda Craun, Ethel Nighswander, Belva Wohlgamuth, and GladysBaker; and a grandson, Jeffrey. Mr. Feasel was a general laborer atUnion Carbide Company, Fostoria, until he retired in 1968. He continuedliving in the area until his wife passed away n March 1984 so that hecould be near his son. Services will be Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. atthe Nopper-Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Burial will be at theScott Trinity Cemetery, Risingsun. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. at thefuneral home. The family asks that memorials be made to the United Way."
