ILL AT WORK; DIES SUDDENLY
Eight hours after he became ill while working on a township work project, John Edwards, 66, of Westmoreland City, died at his home at 6:30 p.m. yesterday. He was unloading pipes at the Manor station when he became ill. It was believed that he suffered a stroke. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Sarah McIntyre Edwards; three children, Mrs. Evelyn Fulmer, of Westmoreland City; William and Martin, at home; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Keen, of San Pedro, Cal.; his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Edwards, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Edward's home, with Rev. O.J. Fleming of the Irwin United Presbyterian church, in charge. Burial will be in the Irwin Union cemetery.
