Finch, Madeline - Madeline G. Finch, 82, of Windsor, NY, died Feb. 7, 2002, at the Heritage Nursing Home, Athens, PA following a short illness. Madeline was born Feb. 15, 1919, in Sempronius, to John and Martha Beyea-Conklin. She had been a resident of Auburn and lived in Deer Lake, Windsor most of her life. She was a graduate of Moravia High School and was employed at Columbian Rope in Auburn and then with her husband in his carpentry business. She enjoyed caring for her animals. She is survived by a sister, Vera Comella of Newark; nieces and nephews and friends at Deer Lake in Windsor. Her husband Fred Finch died in 1985. She was also predeceased by two brothers - Bernard Conklin in 1995 and Gerald Conklin in 1998; two sisters - Selma Grummons in 1984 and Betty Garrett in 1999. A memorial service will be held in the spring in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sempronius.
