In 1819 he and his brother, Larzelere had acquired a quarter section of land (160) acres near Crooksville which is in Perry County, in 1839 half of this land was conveyed by John to Larzelere by Quit Claim deed and $1.00. John sold the other 80 acres to Larzelere for $425.00.
