    This and other secondary sources also claim a son John for the immigrant; such a person did exist, but he married in Roxbury in 1690*, which would be much too late for a son of Edward Bugby. He may have been related in some other way.

    Although no marriage for John & Joanna has been found, it would appear they married prior to 1665. Birth for John listed alternately 1628 & 1639.
