The Prerogative Court, at Barnstable, 6 Dec 1688, settled the estate of John Blackwell of Sandwich as follows: one third to Sarah Blackwell the widow, after the debts were paid, forty shillings apiece to each of the seven children (not mentioned by name); the rest of the estate to the widow for bringing up the children. Inventory taken 28 Nov 1688, sworn to by widow Sarah 6 Dec 1688.
