While the birth of Jonathan Curtis Beardsley is recorded in Stratford Vital Records on Nov 1 1668, Jacobus identifies this person as John Beardsley. Given the rarity of middle names in that time period, it seems possible that a mistranscription occurred in which two original records were accidentally combined prior to publication of the VRs.
