(2) Abigail (Sturgis), widow of Simon Couch, who d. 14 Sept. 1730, ae. abt. 57 (g. s., Westport). In 1708 he was called [Conn. Col. Rec] brother-in-law of Deborah widow of Joseph Whelpley [she was born Deborah Burr]. Adm'n granted, 3 Dec. 1728, to Abigail and John Andrews. Dower in Est. of Ens. John was set to his widow Abigail, 6 Jan. 1729/30."
