    After a brief illness John George Anderson, 64, a retired grocer, succumbed at his home, 759 Harvard street, Menlo Park, this morning.

    Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the chapel of Roller & Hapgood, with interment at Alta Mesa.

    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillian May Anderson; and two sisters, Mrs. Eva May Stevenson of Chicago and Mrs. Effie M. Brendt of San Francisco.

    The late Mr. Anderson was born in Lamartin, Wis.]
