Edmund Alleyn, esq. of Hatfield Peverell, succeeded his father in 1572. He m. Martha, daughter and co-heir of John Glasscock, esq. of Powers Hall, in Witham, and had by her, who died in 1593, one son and two daughters, viz.

Elizabeth, m. to Robert Castle, esq. of East Hatley, in Cambridgeshire.
Mary, m. to Henry Hall, esq. of Gratford, in Lincolnshire.
