- Per Frederick's grandson Josiah, Frederick purchased land from the state of OH on 26 Aug 1815, consisting of 334.76 A. in Muskingum Co. He moved to Ohio the next year. On 7 Nov 1818 he divided the land between his 3 sons, Jacob, Andrew and George. Jacob lived there until he died in 1831 and is probably buried there. In that year Frederick moved to Fairfield Co., OH, where he lived out his life.
Epitaph
I here will slumber underground
Untill the last loud trump shall sound
Then burst my tomb with sweet surprise
And in my Savior's image rise
