complete spelling of birth and death place is UNTERMUTSCHELBACH. son's TIC (John George RUF) also lists this name as John George, rather than 

 Johann Georg (not changed).

addition info from his own TIC (No. 18727, book 6F, page 832). Instance of 

 Erwin Ruf.  This lists his spouse as Karoline Maier.  Could this be another
 spouse or really be Katharine Margarethe Maier? or just a copy error? A typed german Ped Chart lists his death date as 5 Mar 1851 rather than 5 May
 1851 (not changed).  It also list his marriage date as 18 Sep 1795 rather
 than 15 Sep 1795 (not changed).  This also lists his profession as "Vogt" -
 bailiff, sheriff, or constable.
