Henry served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was trampled by a mule train and crippled for life. He turned to alcohol to kill the chronic pain he had in his head and back. When his wife tried to divorce him the judge instead institutionalized him in an asylum.
John Krull on April 14, 1885 was filing a petition, as guardian of the person and estate of Henry Krull, for the sale of real estate located in Andrew County. Appraise as his share being $ 100.00 Apparently his share left him in Will of Lewis Krull who died April 15, 1884. Henry owned no personal property. Had a wife and four minor children.
