    Will of "Job Chase of Middleborough... Gentleman", dated 27 May 1764, proved July 1795, names "my Two Daughters Deborah the Wife of Asa Winslow and Meribah the Wife of Molbon Briggs"; son Benjamin Chase; daughter Anna [indoor moveable "which I had at the Decease of my first wife", "when she shall arive to the age of twenty one years"]; daughter Dianna [indoor moveables "which has bin obtain'd Since the Decease of my first wife", "when she shall come to the age of twenty one years"];son Welcom Uriel Chase ["When he Shall arive to the age of Twenty one years"]; sons Job, Isaac, Lewis and Otice; "if I shall hereafter have any other child born"; wife Robey Chase to be executor.
    6 Feb 1798: Complaint of Lewis Chase and Job Chase that various accountings of "Abner Hoskins of s'd Middleboro & Roba his wife as the Executrix of the will of said Job" had made errors "greatly to the prejudice of those interested [in the estate]".
    16 May 1798: Accounting submitted by "Abner Hoskins & Roby his wife as she is Executrix to the last will & testament of Job Chace late of Middleborough".
    1 Oct 1798: Malbon Briggs appointed Adm'r De bonis none on estate of Job Chace late of Middlebor'o. "Whereas Job Chace late of Middleborough in the County of Plymouth aforesaid Gentleman Deceased on the 27th day of May A. D. 1795 ... he appointed his wife Robey Chace sole Executrix ... but being removed from said trust before she had compleated her administration..."
