Joanne Mary Rozycki, 66, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregory and Nellie Blakeslee. Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Richard Rozycki; son, Greg Rozycki and wife Angela; brother, Jimmy Blakeslee and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Madeline, Mason, Morgan and Marlow Rozycki; and a host of other family and friends.

After moving to Pearland, Joanne and Richard started and ran Brothers Home Care Business for many years. She served as a volunteer EMT with the Pearland Ambulance Service for 9 years. Joanne loved all animals and especially enjoyed riding horses. She was self-taught on the computer, enjoyed tracking her family’s genealogy, loved music and watching sports. Joanne was an avid reader and at one time even considered becoming a writer herself. She was affectionately known as Nanny to her grandkids and always cherished spending time with them. Joanne will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service for Joanne will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
