"Ralph Sprague married "Fordington St. George, Dorsetshire, 15 August 1623 Johane/Joan Warren [NEHGR 132:53], daughter of Richard Warren. Joan Sprague was admitted to Boston church as member #103, immediately after her husband; dismissed with him to newly formed church at Charlestown [BChR 14, 15]. … She died Woburn [Charlestown] 24 February 1680 and called herself 'Joannah Convers widow to Edward deceased sometimes wife of Lieutenant Ralph Sprague' in her will [MPR Case #4930]."

[Note: the most likely identification of Hannah Edmonds seems to be as witness and neighbor, i.e., not a relation? Daughter Mary Edmonds had a brother-in-law, John Edmonds, who married Hannah (Miller) Dady. She was not the scribe, as she signs by mark, so possibly was merely acting as a witness. The relationships in the document (Mother Converse, Sister Edmonds) seem to reflect the perspective of Richard Sprague.]
