    Jesse J. Saunders, 86, of 1024 Sunset, died Thursday, Sept. 21, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville.
    Born Sept. 8, 1892, in Johnstown Township, Rock County, and a lifelong area resident, Mr. Saunders farmed in the area for some time and then was a sales representative for Schadbolt & Boyd, Milwaukee. He was a member of Seventh-Day Baptist Church, a 32nd degree member of the Masonic Lodge 161, and a former member of IOOF Lodge, Rebekah Lodge and Milton Grange.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth M. Rasmussen; and cousins.
    Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Albrecht Funeral Home with burial in Milton Cemetery.
