Executors, sons Jesse and Joseph. Will: Dated 7 December 1829, probated 29 April 1831. Deed, Book 4, page 80. I, Jesse Griffith of Napier Township., Bedford County, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth, his wife for $550 paid by Thomas Griffith of The County and State aforesaid, son of The said Jesse & Elizabeth, his wife , convey The following land in Aston Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania...containing 153 acres...dated 27 February 1817 to Thomas Griffith by deed dated 20 March 1818. Recorded 11 April 1819. Named as brother in Thomas Griffith Will dated 28 February 1826. Deed: In a letter from Emma Nixon Bolton to Edwin Tyson, of Menallen Meeting, it is stated that Jesse and Elizabeth were married prior to 1800 as they sign a deed together in 1800.
