Obituary copied from his Find-a-Grave memorial page: Mr. Jerry Jesse Jackson, 70, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at his residence. He was Baptist by faith and loved fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margie Jackson of Panama City Beach; six daughters, Deana Bentley and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque, N.M.; Debbie Higdon of Albuquerque, N.M., Angela Cromer and husband, Darren, of Vernon, Fla.; Michelle Jackson and husband, Wayne, of Monticello, Ga.; Eva Marie Pinson and husband, Sean, of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and Pamela Ross and husband, David, of Panama City Beach, Fla.; five sons, Rusty Jackson and wife, Ronda, of Albuquerque, N.M.; Rodney Jackson and wife, Trish, of San Antonio, Texas; Daniel Jackson of Albuquerque, N.M., James Jackson and wife, Veronica, of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and Robert Jackson and wife, Michelle, of Forest Park, Ga.; one sister, Waunita Bumbalough of Illinois; and three brothers, Robert Jackson of San Diego, Calif., Mike Jackson of Pekin, Ill., and Ted Jackson of Havana, Ill.; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Jess Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Cromer officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2009, prior to the funeral service. Memorialization will be by cremation.
