'Armsbee (Ormsby), Jeremiah [T.P.R. Jerimiah Armsbe], ch. Thomas, Nov. 25, 1678. [Jeremiah Ormsbey, Nov. 25, 1672 [sic], P.C.R.]'
[Note: Jeremiah's sister Hannah was born Sept 1678 in Rehoboth (according to the Rehoboth VR), so one of their birth years must be incorrect. 1672 does not work for Jeremiah either, as his sister Rebecca was born in May of that year. Since it appears that Jeremiah was the last child of this family born in Taunton and Hannah was the first born in Rehoboth, it seems likely that he was born in 1676 and Hannah in 1678.]

Jeremiah Ormsbee [C16], s/o Thomas Ormsby and Mary Fitch, b. 25 Nov 1672 [sic, see above], m. (int) 3 Nov 1705 Mehitable Willmarth [reports marriage in Swansea, but with wrong date (2 Nov instead of actual 21 Nov), so doesn't seem to think it is valid as a result], "it would appear that Jeremiah's first wife must have died some prior to 1740, and that he married about that time PERSIS ---, for Rehoboth VRs have the birth of a son" [this is plainly wrong as the probate shows Mehitable survived Jeremiah, there was no second marriage].
