    Mrs. Albert H. Ricker.

Mrs. Jennie S. Ricker, well known through her work in the Woman's Relief Corps, passed away on Sunday night at her home, 5 Everett street. She was the wife of Albert H. Ricker, the well known Harvard square plumber and a prominent Grand Army man. Mrs. Ricker was born in Oldtown, Me., and was married to Mr. Ricker in Lawrence in 1869. She has resided in this city for the past 32 years.

Mrs. Ricker was a past president of Charles Beck Woman's Relief Corps, No. 2, and was its chaplain for many years. She was a member of the Tremont Temple Church and of its missionary society. Beside her husband, she leaves one son, Walter J. A. Ricker, of West Medford, and three grand-children: also two brothers and two sisters, Oscar C. Moore, of Brockton, Howard H. Moore, of Peabody. Mrs. M. F. Johnston, of Lawrence, and Mrs. George Allen, of Auburn, Me.

The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at her home, 5 Everett street. Services were conducted by Rev. Cortland Myers, of Tremont Temple, with which Mrs. Ricker had long been associated. The Lotus Quartette rendered several selections, among them "Shadows" and "Abide with Me." Six past commanders, one of them being William H. H. Howe, who is also the present commander of Charles Beck Post, G. A. R., with which the corps is allied, were pall-bearers. The other five were William H. Eveleth. M. C. Beedle, James W. Emery, Leonard D. Garfield and John Stafford. The service of the corps was conducted by President Mrs. Bessie Shaw, assisted by Mrs. Emma Zwahlen as acting senior vice-president, Mrs. Arra Rivinius as acting junior vice-president, and Mrs. E. Rosalie Lincoln, chaplain. Burial was at Dorchester North Cemetery. Among the many floral tributes were pieces from the post, the corps, the executive board of Tremont Temple and the Sunday school, as well as from personal and social friends.
