1900, 7 children born and alive, 1910 8 children and alive. Obituary DE YOUNG --Mrs. Jane DeYoung, 78, passed away at her home at 2211 Boston st. SE, Wednesday evening after a long illness. She is survived by for sons, James, Cornelius, Engle and Marshall, and three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Denison, Mrs. Blanche Vandertstel and Mrs. Mae Spalding all of this city; one brother Alvin Apsey of Ionia; one sister, Mrs. Mary Schiedel of Coopersville; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Metcalf Mortuary. Funeral announcement later.
