  3. There are two Jemima Kingsbury's born about 2 weeks apart in Needham, daughters of Josiah and Timothy. One married Hezekiah Allen and one married William Smith. Most secondary sources avoid identifying the parents of the respective wives, but two that venture a guess get it wrong (Source:Ford, Clayton R. Ancestry of Loren Robert Ford, p. 257; Source:Kingsbury, Kenneth J. Kingsbury Hall : The Genealogy of a Family, p. 98 [on p. 173, it appears, based on a stray sentence, that at some point they William Smith reversed but switched it]). This mistake probably is assumption based on Hezekiah Allen and his wife Jemima naming their first son Timothy. Josiah Kingsbury died when both Jemimas were young and so his will provides no clue, and Timothy Kingsbury does not appear to have any probate, but he executed a deed giving away his land which provides the needed evidence to show his daughter married William Smith (deeds cited on her page).
